SPPI Announces Support for Nonpartisan Impeachment Efforts

The Southwest Public Policy Institute (SPPI) has announced its support for the impeachment efforts against Governor Lujan Grisham led by Representative Stefani Lord. This nonpartisan movement of Republicans, Democrats, and New Mexicans across the state is seeking to protect the Constitutional rights of all New Mexicans. This emergency order has received stark criticism from across the political spectrum, including New Mexico Attorney General Raúl Torrez and Congressman Gabe Vasquez (NM-03).

Located in New Mexico, the Southwest Public Policy Institute is committed to improving the quality of life in the American Southwest and supporting policies that will protect and protect our way of life.

“The Governor must be held accountable for her actions.”

Patrick M. Brenner, President

“The Governor must be held accountable for her actions,” said SPPI President Patrick M. Brenner. “It is the official position of SPPI, which was established and is located in New Mexico, that this order violates the Governor’s oath of office to protect the constitution. Our mission is to improve and protect the quality of life for New Mexicans. This policy does the opposite. It puts New Mexicans at risk of violent crime and losing additional rights through executive overreach.”

The Southwest Public Policy Institute is a think tank dedicated to improving the quality of life in the American Southwest by formulating, promoting, and defending sound public policy solutions. The Institute’s mission is simple: to deliver better living through better policy.

Its high time this happened.
I grew up in New Mexico. Was educated at UNM and started and ran an award-winning business with multiple employees for 25 years there as a woman in a traditionally mans field. I have always voted independently for different parties based on the quality of candidate.

I finally left the state because of the insane, authoritarian democrats – especially Lujan-Grisham (super corrupt). If you did not strictly follow/agree to their psuedo-religious poli beliefs, you get blacklisted and hated. Frightening.

Get her out.

I too think it’s about time this happened. She should have never been permitted to run in the first place. It seems as if it is becoming more difficult to select candidates who are FOR the people instead of the agenda of their political party. This is America where Capitalism is the economic force that made this country as great as it was until the left entered and began to implement their socialist/communist policies. Good old-fashioned ethics and values along with common sense should be driving the train and not far left ideology.

Way past time. This last stunt requires consequences. Violating her oath of office with a made up work around needs to carry along with it SERIOUS consequences or it will occur again and again. This far and no farther, in fact back up about 10 miles MLG. Back up!
